My recommenders sent me e-mails telling me they sent the letters. Do I reply to this thanking them? Or do I just send the thank you card? I am applying to a few more schools with deadlines in March (that I recently added to my list of schools)... I don't know what the etiquette is in this situation.

I'm open to suggestions on this, because I'm kind of coming to a roadblock. After undergrad, I went through 2 of 3 years in an MFA program, but did not complete the program. Sooooo.....one of my recommenders for my applications has been sending in her LORs basically one-at-a-time as the deadlines approach for each application.  This is fine, except that one of these applications is to a program with rolling admissions...and the final deadline isn't until May 1.  This is the only LOR that she has not sent in yet, and my ( Read more... )
